Hurricane Earl

Earl is a powerful category 4 hurricane. Earl is currently moving with about 14 mph toward the west-northwest. Hurricane Earl’s path is tracked by the The National Hurricane Center in Miami. Based on the forecast the Hurricane is moving towards the East Coast of the U.S. and might reach the coast by Thursday evening.

It is expected that Earl will gradually turn to the northwest later today.

The location at 11:00 AM was 21.2N 67.9W. That is about 205 miles east of the Grand Turk Island or about 1070 miles south-southeast of Cape Hatteras in North Carolina.
